All the customer needs is one comment with a code and the order, stock and payment will be handled automatically. This way you can set it up step by step and stop retyping comments in the table.
You broadcast, talk about the product, show it to the camera, and one comment after another just pours in under the video. Who wants what? In what size? Who was there before? Who wants to buy it and who is just asking? If you write down orders from comments manually, you know this stress very well. In this guide, we will go over how to set it up so that the customer only needs one comment with a code and everything else happens automatically.
With dozens of comments per minute, it's simply impossible to do three things at once: talk, read comments, and write down orders. What if a colleague helps you? You'll still encounter the same problems.
Typical errors when writing manually:
The biggest problem, however, occurs after the broadcast. The spreadsheet or workbook is outside the e-shop, so you have to manually enter inventory, invoices, and shipping. Each product is processed twice.
The goal is clear: a comment should become an order directly in your e-shop , not a note in a notebook. How to do that? The basis is a purchase code.
Each product and each variant has its own code in live sales from comments . It starts with your own prefix, for example NX, followed by a number, resulting in a code like NX 88. The customer simply writes it in the comment.
What's practical about this: people write comments quickly and inaccurately, so the system tolerates different notations:
The comment "nx88 me too please" is therefore recognized by the system just like pure code. The customer does not have to learn the exact format.
You don't have to come up with codes manually. They are generated when you create a product, and if you create products via AI product creation from a photo, codes for live orders are automatically calculated along with the SKU. You can find more about the settings in the article Product codes in comments .
The code doesn't just work under live. The customer can also write it under a regular post or send it in a Messenger message. One logic, multiple places.
Now comes the part you don't do anymore. Turbo Automat reads the comments under the live video and does four things for each one:
From comment to order, it takes a few seconds, and the system can handle hundreds of comments per minute. You can read more about what happens when there is a big rush in the article Turbo Automat: what happens with thousands of comments per minute .
What does it look like in practice? The presenter shows a black Mia handbag for €34.90. Zuzana writes “The black one is beautiful!”, which is just a normal comment, so nothing happens. Dana writes “nx88 me too please”. In a few seconds, an order is created in the e-shop and Dana receives a message in Messenger: “Your order is ready: Mia handbag, black, €34.90 along with the Complete order button. In the meantime, you are talking about another product.
The order is created, but the customer still needs to pay and provide an address. Messenger automation also handles this, so you don't have to ask anyone in private messages.
The customer clicks the button and is taken to the checkout in your e-shop. They can pay by card, transfer or cash on delivery . If the system does not yet know them, it will send them a short form with their address and phone number directly in the conversation. The data will be saved, so you will not be asked again the next time you make a purchase. For details on saving customers, see the Messenger inbox and customers page.
A few things that will save you some nerves:
The last point is more important than it seems. A customer who doesn't get a response will think the system isn't working and will repeat the comment or write to you.
The greatest joy of live selling is when you run out of stock. The biggest problem is when you run out of stock. That's why inventory is deducted immediately with every order.
The last piece will be sold exactly once. All other comments on the same product go into reservations , no one will be left without a response and you don't have to manually reject anyone.
When you restock, you convert reservations into orders with one click and the customer receives a payment message. This way, you don't lose a sale that would otherwise end with "out of stock."
Size and color variants have their own stock status. Size M may be sold out while L is still available. For more information about stock, see Stock and shipping .
Tip: Before each broadcast, check your inventory and prepare your products in the order you will present them.
Technique is only half the success. The other half is proper preparation and habits during the broadcast.
If you want to take the strain off the start and end, DOMINO can help. It can automatically turn on the machine and Messenger messages when you start the live and clean everything up when you're done.
And when do you need to intervene manually? In the LIVE Manager PRO dashboard, you can monitor comments in real time and create an order from a comment with one click, for example when a customer writes the code in their own way. If you're just starting out, check out the article How to Start Selling on Facebook Live in One Afternoon .
The broadcast has ended, but the sale may not. The system will create a recording of the products on the timeline . A customer who missed the live broadcast clicks on the product and the video will rewind to the exact moment you were showing it. They can purchase directly from the recording.
Then send a mass message to everyone who participated with a link to the recording and a reminder of unfinished carts. For tips on what kind of post-live messages work, see Messenger after live: five messages that sell .
All orders from both live and web are in one list, along with invoices, shipping, and shipment tracking, as described on the Orders, Payments, and Invoices page.
How do you check if it worked? After the broadcast, look at three numbers:
From these three pieces of information, you immediately know how much goods to stock and who to contact.
The purchase code works under live on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, under regular posts and in messages in Messenger or Instagram Direct. You can also broadcast via your own NexusLive broadcast with restreaming to multiple platforms at once. With TikTok, please note that it does not collect orders from comments.
The system tolerates common deviations such as spaces or lowercase letters. If the code is invalid or the item is sold out, the customer will receive an explanation instead of silence. For sold out items, the comment goes into the reservation and after replenishment of the stock, you can convert it into an order with one click.
NexusShop is available in three packages: Start, Professional and Enterprise. Hosting, updates, backups and support are included in the price and you can try it for 7 days free without a credit card. You can find the current conditions in the price list .
